bug fix & elo changes...

This is mainly a bug fix release, so nothing blazing here except for discreet improvement.

Due to some of the bugfixes below some players Elo has been corrected. This correction will have affected you and everyone else of course differently depending on who you might have played against. As a rule of thumb, the more provisionals you have played the larger the effect will be (up or down, all depending on how it went for you in the games). This is so since the bugs only existed in cases where at least one of the players were provisionals and it has now been resolved.

For the historically inclined: I've also let the ladder work very hard on calculating everyones actual ranking on the ladder at the time of every game they ever played. This type of info will be viewable soon® in the game history/profile etc. Meanwhile you can see the info already in the log file. Right click and save part 1 and then do the same with part 2.. Let's look at an example from the log to see what info there is in it:

[09-09-04 07:24:09.281234] o3. Processed Ranking: 2209. 2008-05-27 16:23:00 Becephalus #2 (3) / Crassus_PL #17 (17)

[time of log entry] o3. Nothing interesting: Game number in log. Date-Time-of-game WinnerName #RankAfterGame (RankBeforeGame) and the same for the loser. That's it from the log, it wasn't written to show what happens really, just to show that it did happen More cool stuff based on magic form these types of info can be whooped up, contact me if you have any bright ideas how rank movement and rank itself can be used.

Release Notes:

// New

- In most recentgame history in profile you can now see what rank a player had when he played the game and what he had after playing it.

- footer shows when the fcron has done something to the ladder to the visitor that triggered it.

- Graphics to the maintenance screen shown to users: Thanks to the wesnoth.org community for it's amazing visuals. Please visit the site and check out the game.

// Fixes

- Important: The number of games a provisional player has to play before becoming a non-provisional is now correct, corresponding with the settings in the cfg. On LoW this value was 9 due to code error (again), when it was set to 10 in the cfg. The same goes for the games a player needed to play before he gets a ranking at all, it was 8 due to some earlier attempts to mend another bug that was fixed, while it was really set to 10 in cfg.

- Maintenance mode no longer blocks admin from accessing the admin interface.

- Check files for FCron are now in a separate dir for write permission reasons, path is configurable.

- FCronjobs for archiving the ladder day by day had a bug leading to the snapshots not being taken at all some times.

- Sportsmanship points in games history and also in profile would be too low when doing a foonky db imports where NULL was replaced by 0.

- Time display error related to UTC on profile & maintenance page.

- On some PHP setups one additional day was somehow added in the buffert days a player has to play a game in to count as active. (Okey, so that's barely readable English...)

- Rerank logs are now gathered in /logs instead of loosely on the server
